Randstad is seeking a Project Manager to work for an emerging, Tier 2 commercial contractor based in Oxfordshire! The firm have a commitment to delivering high-quality projects that enhance communities and drive economic growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our team.

As a Project Manager, the suitable individual will play a crucial role in overseeing various commercial schemes throughout Oxfordshire. Reporting directly to the Senior Management Team, chosen candidates will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and monitor project progress against established plans.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Manage project budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring adherence to financial targets and effective cost control measures.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and investors.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to optimise project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the commercial real estate or construction industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of construction processes, building codes, and regulations.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
