We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team. Main Responsibilities as a Compliance Manager
- Review SOX control evidence for completeness and compliance.
- Organise the collection and custody of control evidence for SOX audits.
- Manage SOX audits and conduct annual reviews to ensure compliance with SOX controls.
- Organise and manage the audit process with divisional internal and external audit.
- Review and standardise controls to simplify and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the controls in the shared services.
- Maintain routine communication, feedback, and reports to the SSC management team on the effectiveness of the SSC controls.
- Proactively detect ethical violations, compliance issues and implement remediation.
- Plan in accordance with SSC management team.
- Ensure that changes to governance requirements are communicated to all those affected within shared services and amongst businesses.
Experience & Skills Required
- Fully Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACMA or international equivalent.
- Current experience working in audit.
- Experience in a governance function or compliance role.
- Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley requirements and US GAAP standards.
