We are currently recruiting for one of our trusted clients who are looking for a Compliance Manager to join their team. Join a team that designs and manufactures a wide range of innovative and sustainable packaging solutions and products with their clients being some of the largest and most respected companies in the world.

Main Responsibilities as a Compliance Manager

  • Review SOX control evidence for completeness and compliance.
  • Organise the collection and custody of control evidence for SOX audits.
  • Manage SOX audits and conduct annual reviews to ensure compliance with SOX controls.
  • Organise and manage the audit process with divisional internal and external audit.
  • Review and standardise controls to simplify and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the controls in the shared services.
  • Maintain routine communication, feedback, and reports to the SSC management team on the effectiveness of the SSC controls.
  • Proactively detect ethical violations, compliance issues and implement remediation.
  • Plan in accordance with SSC management team.
  • Ensure that changes to governance requirements are communicated to all those affected within shared services and amongst businesses.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Fully Qualified Accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACMA or international equivalent.
  • Current experience working in audit.
  • Experience in a governance function or compliance role.
  • Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley requirements and US GAAP standards.
