Butler Ross have a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning Manager to join an leading manufacturing company based in Oxford, they are looking for bring in a new Supply Chain Planning Manager who will be responsible for leading and developing the department, to be able to meet deadlines, make achievements and build a supportive and exciting working environment.

This role is 100% office based in Oxford.

Duties of the Supply Chian Planning Manager

  • Create and manage the production schedule, ensuring optimal material availability.
  • Work closely with key internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Maintain and monitor all planning and production activities.
  • Playing a role in developing robust BoMs.
  • Develop and create reports, documentation, logs, and safety records.
  • Create and implement best practice warehousing principles, policies, and processes.
  • Continuously review ways to aid efficiency, add value, and reduce costs as well as delivering continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience Required of the Supply Chain Planning Manager

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a technical manufacturing environment.
  • Highly experienced in Supply Chain, Logistics and Planning in a management/leadership position.
  • Excellent communication skills and naturally collaborative.
  • Good understanding of heath and safety and proven experience ensuring/building a safe working environment.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Full Driving License.

Location: Oxford 100% on site.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000

This role would be well suited to a Supply Chain Manager, Planning Manager, Materials Manager, Inventory Manager, or Production Manager.
