Basic Salary: 13.22 - 17.83ph dependent upon experience (37,086.40 upper end, with opportunity to progress to Paint Sprayer after 12 weeks at salary of 41,730).

Job Summary

We are seeking skilled Paint Preppers to join our team. The Paint Prepper will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying masking materials.

Duties

* Clean and prepare surfaces for painting by removing dirt, grease, and old paint
* Sand surfaces to smooth out imperfections
* Apply masking tape and protective covers to areas not being painted
* Demasking all vehicles once the paint work has been completed
* Detailed filler work with capability to follow correct procedures
* Assist with paint application when necessary

Skills

* Minimum 1 year experience in similar role
* Good eye for detail
* Good level of English
* Proficiency in using hand tools for sanding and cleaning
* Ability to lift heavy objects when required
* Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance
* Familiarity with power tools for surface preparation
