We are supporting some of the most prestigious support and care locations in the UK and continue to offer outstanding person-centred care and support on a daily basis. We support adults in various settings such as residential, nursing, support and clinical facilities with daily tasks such as personal cares, companionship, and other complex needs. As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility is to aid and support to individuals dealing with Learning differences and mental health conditions. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote the well-being, independence, and recovery of clients. This role requires empathy, patience, and a commitment to helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health issues.

The Key Responsibilities of the job role:
路 Provide one-to-one support and supervision to individuals.
路 Aid all services users in need of assistance
路 Promoting independence to residents with day-to-day decisions (clothing, bathing, choices of food etc)
路 Work collaboratively with other staff members and professionals.
路 Maintain accurate records and documentation of interventions and outcomes
路 Provide emotional support and practical assistance to individuals to help them achieve their goals and aspirations
路 Work closely in a holistic approach to care
路 Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families.
路 Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the community and healthcare system.
路 Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support to individuals in distress.
路 Implement crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies.
路 Coordinate with emergency services when required.
路 Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities-cinema, appointments etc
The successful candidate will have:
路Level 2 in Adult Health and Social Care
路Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
路A passion to support and care for others
路A drive to learn and develop
路Flexibility to work
路A minimum of 3 months UK care experience
路The right to work in the UK
路Commitment to providing high-quality care and support.
路Ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously
路Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage challenging situations
路Provide a supportive and structured environment that promotes positive change.
路A sense of humour and the ability to bring a smile to the service users face!
路A can-do attitude
路Excellent timekeeping skills
路Empathy, patience, and a non-judgemental approach to working with individuals with mental health challenges.
