Here at Every Step Recruitment, Finance & Accountancy, we are pleased to be recruiting for a highly successful and reputable organisation in Kings Langley who are looking to appoint a Bookkeeper on a Permanent basis. This is full-time (would also consider Part time)

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Knowledge of Management Accounts
Weekly Cash flowing
VAT knowledge, ideally including experience of the VAT domestic reverse charge
Knowledge of payroll and expenses
Weekly/Monthly Payment Runs
Reconciliation of ledgers and bank
HMRC compliance (knowledge of deadlines for PAYE, p11DS, etc)
Able to assist with year-end process and audit

Skills and Attributes required:

AAT qualified or several years’ experience in a similar role
Previously worked in Construction Industry desirable; knowledge of CIS is needed
Excellent attention to detail
