Educated Appointments are delighted to be supporting a rapidly expanding Group Training Association with training centres in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe to hire aMechanicalInstructor.

Our client are an Ofsted graded 2 'Good' training provider, which delivers Apprenticeships and both standard and bespoke upskill training courses, providing accredited, industry recognised training from a beginner to an advanced level, all of our courses and standards are taught by highly experienced staff to ensure you receive the best possible training.

We recruit industry specialists who want to make the career change to delivering training and skills.

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineerwho feels they have the right skills and attributestopass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation of engineers.SomeProcessexperiencewould be desirable but is not essential.

This position is based at the training centre inHull and entails delivering high quality apprenticeship and commercial training for our client companies.

The successful applicant must have experience in:

  • Mechanicalplanned and reactivemaintenance.
  • Lathe/Milling Machine operation.
  • Safe use of Hand Tools.
  • Hydraulics or Pneumatics.
  • Health & Safety practices and procedures.

A working knowledge ofchemicalprocessindustry and/or CAD is desirable notessential.

The successful applicant also needs:

  • A minimum of Level 3 Engineering qualification
  • Good interpersonal and computer skills
  • Full Driving licence

Whilst assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable, they are not essential as full support will be given in the development of necessary skills.
