Our client, well established construction equipment suppliers, require a Maintenance person to join their Warehouse and Workshop team.
Reporting into the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, your key duties will include:
- Maintaining all warehouse and workshop equipment.
- Maintenance of Forklift Trucks and other machinery (which will include doing some welding and fabrication work).
- Completing Loler certification for all lifting equipment.
- Completing Pat testing in all new equipment.
- Assist in creating a preventative maintenance environment withinthe business.
- Assisting where required in installing and repairing equipment, material and property.
- Completing Pat testing on new equipment and annual testing.
- Repairing and completing quality control on track motors
- Supporting in ensuring that all equipment meets or surpasses H&S requirements.
To be suitable for this vital role you will ideally have the following key skills and experience:
- Mechanical repair related experience.
- Counterbalance licence (can get if not)
- Loadall licence. (can get if not)
- Abrasive wheels.(can get if not)
- Welding and fabrication experience (can be trained if not).
- Show a high level of competency and organisational skills
- Working within a team environment providing a total quality service to internal and external customers.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Exhibiting a positive "can do" attitude
- Loler certified or ability to be trained.
PLEASE NOTE YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ANY SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS ROLE...'HANDS ON' EXPERIENCE WILL BE ACCEPTABLE.
PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME WILL BE CONSIDERED!
