HR Administrator Job Description. Location; Knutsford, Cheshire  Are you an organised and proactive individual with a passion for HR administration? We are a successful National organisation providing logistics solutions. Part of one of the UK’s leading supply chain, transport and logistics businesses truly offering end-to-end supply chain solutions. We provide dedicated, same day transport solutions to local businesses. We specialise in delivering time sensitive shipments from commercial businesses throughout the UK and Europe. Our mission is ‘To be the first choice to deliver every single time. To always be there for our customers and our team As part of our friendly and motivated team, you'll play a vital role in supporting our HR Manager and contributing to the success of our growing organisation.Here's what we offer:
  • Competitive salary ranging from £22,000 to £26,000, depending on qualifications and experience.

  • Consistent working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:am to 5:00 pm
Reporting into and supporting the HR Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, including pre-employment screening, and arranging interviews.
  • Handling day-to-day employee relation queries and managing absence.
  • Keeping policies up to date with legalisation.
  • Supporting engagement, and retention.
  • Conducting general HR administration tasks, such as drafting offer letters and contracts of employment.
  • Maintaining HR filing systems, both manual and electronic.
To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ideally Experience in a similar HR administration role.
