Accounts Assistant -
Fully office based in Knutsford
Salary up to £25,000 plus training and opportunity for progression
We are looking for a full-time Accounts Assistant who is looking for a rewarding and challenging career within finance. Full training is provided, with opportunities to gain financial qualifications and progress your career.
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the transactional finance of specific brands within the business.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Resolving supplier queries and giving advise where needed
- Processing invoices
- Processing bank payments
- Processing and paying expenses
- Creating and sending of receivable invoices
- Chasing payment of receivable invoices
- Importing and reconciling customer payments
- Ordering and issuing fuel & expense cards
- Processing submitted credit card expenses and exporting them to accounting system
- Producing adhoc reports for Management Accountant
Requirements
- Experience in a finance department
- Good IT skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work as a team member
- Experience using Xero
Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5.30pm with one hour lunch break
