Overview:

As the Purchasing Coordinator, you will work closely with operational partners to execute procurement activities efficiently and align with supply plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source materials regionally, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timeliness, and completeness of orders
  • Oversee operational purchasing activities including creation, monitoring, and updates in collaboration with supply partners
  • Determine appropriate transportation methods for goods
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Regional Supply Chain Manager to negotiate special purchase prices and contracts
  • Assist Supply Managers in exception management, resolving issues promptly, and providing updates to stakeholders
  • Approve partner invoices as needed
  • Handle complaints related to damages and service issues for inbound materials
  • Manage inventory levels in regional core hubs, including slow-moving, aged, and excess inventory
  • Maintain system processes and paperwork according to delivery instructions
  • Update relevant data in IT systems
  • Provide regular performance metrics (KPIs) and identify areas for continuous improvement within the procurement process

Requirements:
