Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 07.00 to 16.00 Friday 07.00 to 12.00

We are currently looking for a Welder to join our team in our busy manufacturing site in High Legh Warrington.

Welder - The Role:

Working in our Production team you will be responsible for manufacturing a range of standard and non-standard products to drawing, on time and to a high standard of work and have the ability to work under minimal supervision and to deadlines.

Note: A MIG weld test will be part of the interview process.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Setting up the components and equipment for the welding process as per Job Card.
• Preparing materials and setting up jigs to ensure safe and effective assembly.
• Interpreting specifications and drawings accurately, to ensure product is within specification and within tolerance.
• MIG welding Mild and Stainless Steel
• Housekeeping - Clean as you go
• Working knowledge of 5's (would be advantages but not essential)

Welder - The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be a self-starter and have:

• Ability to read drawings.
• Be a quick learner and have a positive attitude to work, colleagues and management at all time.
• Dexterity and practical skills, along with being a clear, logical thinker.
• Be computer literate and proficient with IT systems within a manufacturing environment.
• An individual who is highly motivated and energetic.
• Ability to communicate well at all levels.
• The ability to keep track of key information - attention to detail is essential.
• Tenacity to seek out information and correct answers.
