 Are you passionate about providing amazing service and building strong working relationships with your customers? Do you have excellent communication and negotiation skills? Do you want to work with global brands like Nando’s and The Ivy? If yes, then you might be the perfect fit for our Sales Consultant role.Working from our client’s head office in Carnforth you will be responsible for turning leads into orders and sales. You will work mainly from our office, using phone, email, and other IT tools to communicate with potential and existing customers.• Manage and qualify leads from the hospitality sector.• Understand and address the needs of the customers and offer them the best solutions.• Provide quotes, samples, and buying materials and highlight the unique selling points of our products.• Follow up with the customers throughout the sales process and ensure they have all the information they need to make a purchase decision.• Raise sales orders and allocate stock.• Report on your daily activities and monthly targets to the sector leader• Refer customers to alternative suppliers if we cannot meet their requirements.• Coordinate with purchasing, transport, accounts, and other departments to ensure smooth order delivery.• Keep track of all open orders and delivery dates• Perform administrative sales tasks such as emails and phone calls.To succeed in this role, you will need:• Experience in handling and managing projects in a firm but friendly manner.• Ability to negotiate and close sales.• Good people skills and sales / customer service orientation• Excellent written and verbal communication• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook• Good time management skills• Ability to work well as part of a team and assist with various tasks as needed.
