Job Opportunity: Senior Electronics Test Engineer

REED Engineering are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Test Engineer to join a growing Engineering department in a well-established contract electronics manufacturer

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-growing family business, supporting both large and SME businesses across the UK and Europe

Working hours: 35 hours per week – 12pm finish on Friday

Salary: £26,000-£35000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing of PCBs with a variety of equipment, including ATE, DMMs & Oscilloscopes
  • Identifying PCB faults
  • Comfortable with complex schematics
  • In-depth Datasheet & component knowledge

Specific Knowledge May Include:

  • Intermediate electronics theory
  • Operating DMMs, Signal generators, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies & Functional ATE
  • Microcontroller functionality, including programming using various software & hardware tools
  • Communication protocols, such as RS232 & I2C

Desirable

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
  • Working independently with good time keeping
  • Confidence when communicating with customers
  • Comfortable with a soldering iron
  • Methodical & analytical approach
