This position seeks an industrious and meticulous Group SHEQ Coordinator who will be instrumental in implementing, maintaining and improving the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) standards across multiple manufacturing sites.

Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement and enforce the company's SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventative measures.
  • Coordinate training and workshops on SHEQ awareness.
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and internal policies.
  • Investigate any incidents and compile detailed reports.
  • Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation.
  • Contribute to a culture of SHEQ awareness across the organisation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal audits.

Profile

A successful SHEQ Coordinator should have:

  • Proficiency in SHEQ management systems and databases.
  • Adeptness in conducting risk assessments and SHEQ audits.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills to relay SHEQ policies effectively.
  • Awareness of industrial and manufacturing processes and their impact on SHEQ.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • A relevant degree in environmental health, safety management or a related field.
