EPOS Field Engineer

Are you an experienced EPOS Field Engineer with over a year of proven success? Do you have a background in IT, mechatronics, or electronics? We are looking for someone like you to join our team!

The position is offered on a contract basis within the IR35.

You will be provided with a company vehicle and fuel card.  You must be flexible and be prepared to work on a rota basis.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a EPOS Engineer.
  • Completion of education in IT, or electronics-related field.
  • Proficient in PC usage with a strong understanding and application of relevant tools and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with products within the industry and basic ITIL skills are advantageous.
  • Physical capability to lift and manoeuvre heavy objects, ability to stand, climb, bend, and stoop while working on equipment.
  • Flexibility with shifts, including participation in an on-call rotation for evenings and weekends.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience as a Firstline or Service Technician is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting by meticulously analysing hardware and software failures using available diagnostic tools. This involves repairing hardware at the component level, adjusting mechanical components, and configuring and installing software.
  • Perform routine inspections following documented preventative maintenance procedures and replenish consumables as instructed.
  • Execute IMAC, removal of hardware and software products and components as directed.
  • Provide instruction and training to customers on the usage and operation of installed hardware and software.
  • Provide thorough debriefings on all completed activities and proactively update customers on actions taken.
  • Remain vigilant for technical or process issues, proactively informing relevant parties and offering improvement suggestions where possible.

Rate: £132.00

On-site training will be given.
