Location: Lancaster Salary: c£35,000.00Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shiftsSummary:This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has a successful background in transport at a supervising level with a good understanding of legal compliance, drivers' hours and WTD's plus knowledge of transport management systems and vehicle telematics.Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting in the smooth transition of a new contract
- Supervising the driving team including briefing and debriefing
- Complying to WTD and drivers hours legislation
- Liaising directly with customers and stakeholders in a professional manner
- Collate management information and KPIs
- Ensure site compliance, health, safety and security is maintained.
Experience:
- Previous supervisory experience within transport
- Transport Manager CPC preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of Transport management systems and vehicle telematics
- Good organisation skills
- Excellent communication skills
