We are seeking a highly motivated Classroom Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Lancaster. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity suitable for experienced educators who have an excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and outstanding behaviours management. The position offers a friendly and supportive environment, with the role commencing in May 2024 and concluding at the end of the academic year in July 2024 (subject to change).
Day to Day of the role:- Deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire and motivate Y3 students.
- Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the school community.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings and professional development sessions.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom that respects all students.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team of teachers and staff.
