Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Band 8a Practitioner Psychologist for a LOCUM contract in partnership with Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide psychological support to Adults with Learning Disabilities across a Community setting in the Lancaster area. This is a part-time opportunity available for the duration of 12 Weeks with the likelihood of extension. Job Purpose: Band 8a Practitioner Psychologist Pay Rate: £35.00 LTD p/h + £250 SCS Sign-Up BonusLocation: Lancaster (Hybrid/Flexible Working available)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00Contract: 3 Days | 22.5 Hours (less will be considered)The post holder will work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary Community Mental Health Team and provide Psychological Assessments and 1:1 treatment to service users with complex Learning Difficulties.Key Responsibilities:

• To provide specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing to the patient's formulation, diagnosis and treatment plan and to provide advice to other professionals on psychological aspects of risk assessment and management.
• To provide specialist psychological assessments to individuals displaying complex conditions who within a Community setting.

• Psychology Qualification
• HCPC Registration

• Previous experience supporting Adults with Learning Difficulties
