We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our client based in Langport, our client is a leading Food Manufacturer who are keen to appoint a Management Accountant to join their expanding team based in Langport.
Job Title: Management Accountant
Location: Langport
Salary: Competitive plus KPI Bonus
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday – 9am – 5pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be qualified to either ACCA/ CIMA or working towards achieving this and possess experience of working within a Financial environment. You will be an excellent communicator who is able to display experience of successfully managing/leading a team and processes and have the desire to drive the business forward whilst leading from the front.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the production of monthly financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets and variance analysis.
- Analyse financial performance to assist with business planning and forecasting.
- Prepare and provide financial information for month end process and audit in the form of a Balance Sheet reconciliation pack.
- Management of fixed assets register ensuring all items are live and correctly depreciated.
- Manage stock listing and ensure it is updated and reconciled monthly.
- Validate and ensure that transactions performed in systems within the business are translated into the financial ledgers correctly.
- Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions.
- To perform any other tasks and duties as requested by the Financial Controller.
