MDH Recruitment are working with our client, a national grounds maintenance company who are looking for a Head of Operations to join them at their site in Larkhall.
Our client carry out a vast range of landscaping services ranging from grounds maintenance to arboriculture working for transport companies, local authorities and other private companies.

Responsibilities
- Day to day organisation and running of all customers operational contracts. Initially at Larkhall Depot but with a view to include new Arbroath Depot.
- The planning and scheduling of all staff in relation to these contracts
- Ensure all staff are aware of and adhere to all company policies.
- Implementation of a positive Health & safety culture
- Liasing with clients from introduction and quoting through to job completion ensuring customer satisfaction at every level.
- The management of operational budgets and accurate cost reporting.
- HR requirements - ranging from staff recruitment to appraisals and disciplinaries.
Experience
- Dynamic and self-motivated individual who can work under own initiative.
- 3 years’ experience in a similar role involving project tracking and management.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Strong communications skills and interpersonal skills.
- A proficient knowledge of Microsoft office, publisher and excel.
