Role: Machine Operator (Weekday Nights)
Location: DS Smith Packaging, Hurdon Road, Launceston, PL15 9HN
Job Type: Full-time, 3-month contract (with potential to extend)
Pay Rates:

£16.41 per hour weekends (up to 37.5 hours)

£24.62 overtime after 8 hours per day and on Saturdays
Start Date: ASAP (subject to interview and onboarding checks)
Shift Patterns:

Weekday nights: 10pm-6am Monday-Thursday, 4pm-9pm Friday
Main Responsibilities:
-
Operate machinery and equipment in a fast-paced production environment
-
Adhere to Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOW) and UK Health & Safety regulations
-
Carry out routine checks and basic maintenance on machinery
Requirements:
-
Full UK driving licence and own transport
-
Previous experience in manufacturing or production
-
Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation and SSOW
