We are seeking two highly organised and efficient Administrative Assistants to join our award-winning podiatry clinic. In this crucial role, you will support our team of podiatrists, ensuring seamless operations and a positive experience for our patients. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of administrative tasks, from managing appointments to maintaining patient records, all aimed at ensuring the smooth running of our office and delivering exceptional customer service.

These positions will be offered on a job share basis, and is likely to be three days per week, including alternate Saturdays (half days). Flexibility to cover for absences due to holidays or sickness would be highly advantageous.

Package:

  • £23,500 per year per annum pro rata

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients on arrival, manage reception duties, and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Schedule appointments (considering patient needs and podiatrist availability).
  • Send appointment confirmations and reminders.
  • Maintain accurate patient records (adhering to GDPR regulations).
  • Process patient payments (if applicable).
  • Maintain a clean and professional reception area.
  • Assist podiatrists with paperwork and administrative tasks.
  • Completing general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Ensuring all experience outstanding levels of customer service and feel valued.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong experience in office administration.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Discreet and professional manner.
  • Basic understanding of podiatry terminology (desirable).
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment (desirable).
