Our leading removals and storage specialist clients are currently looking for a Removals Management Trainee, to join their team in Surrey.

As Removals Management Trainee, you'll receive training to enable you to be proficient in a busy environment, r esponding to customer enquiries, booking surveys, issuing sales quotations, and administering new moves/ relocation bookings and coordinating moves, door to door, liaising with crew, and keeping customers updated.  This role requires you to have a UK driving licence.

Responsibilities (when fully trained)

  • Responding to customer enquiries, booking surveys, issuing sales quotations, and administering new moves / relocation bookings and amending customer bookings and quotations as necessary
  • Coordinate moves, door to door, liaising with crew, and keeping customers updated
  • Advising customers on services including insurance and storage
  • Planning and managing unforeseen issues through the move and resolving any customer concerns throughout the moving process
  • Coordinating with the crew, and Operations to ensure that any changes are communicated internally, and the operations crew are fully briefed before each move
  • Process all administration though the IT system (MoveMan) accurately and on time, ensuring that all documentation is managed efficiently

The successful Removals Management Trainee will have first class customer service skills and be able to show empathy to customers, in recognition that moving home is often a stressful experience.  Previous office administration experience is essential, with organisational and time management skills.  You must have excellent communications skills, both verbal and written English, as well as accurate numeracy.

In return the Removals Management Trainee will be offered a salary up to £34,000, in line with experience.
