We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established and successful consumer products brand. This company sells their award-winning products to leading retailers and are market leaders in their field.
You will be responsible for the supply chain and shipping function for this business, working closely with their global vendor base, their retail clients, freight forwarders, and internal teams to deliver products swiftly, to agreed dates, and within budget. We are looking for someone who is highly organised, and has experience working with global vendors and freight forwarders.

Duties and Responsibilities for this Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator:- Logistics Coordination: Effectively coordinate and track product shipments from global suppliers, ensuring shipping times are optimised, and goods are delivered to retailers in line with agreed dates.
- Freight: Sea container planning, managing both DDP & FOB deliveries, ensuring timely delivery in line with agreed critical path dates.
- Costing: Maintenance of the company cost sheet, managing margin and ensuring all freight costs are optimised and budgets adhered to.
- Customs Clearance: Ensuring all paperwork and declarations are completed and accurate to aid swift passage through customs.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Keep sales and buying teams informed and up-to-date on intake dates, lead-times and deadlines, flagging any issues that may arise.
- Systems: Maintenance of company database, including POs and shipping schedules.
- Data Analysis: Reporting and data analysis to provide insights, and support informed decision-making.
- Project Work: Undertake project management tasks as required to streamline business processes, and optimise swift delivery of orders to customers.
- Experience in a logistics or supply chain role within a consumer goods business.
- Experience working with global factories and global shipping / logistics providers.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills are essential, with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Excellent attention to detail and an analytical mindset.
- A proactive problem solver with a deadline driven approach.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
