As the Income Officer:
- You will be managing a Patch in Surrey.
- Ensure tenants are aware of their rights and responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving and maintaining the lowest possible levels of current rent and former tenancy arrears
- Maximise income recovery and meet arrears targets
- Producing arrears reports and letters
- Communicating with residents and drafting instructions for legal possession proceedings
- Serving Notices
- Home visits
- Applying for direct payments
- Attending court where required
The successful Income Officer will have:
- Working in a similar role
- Advising, guiding, complaint handling and problem solving
- Current housing legislation and welfare benefits knowledge
- Motivational and leadership skills to enthuse customers to build thriving communities
