We are delighted to be partnering again with a long-standing construction client of ours, who are currently looking for an experienced and capable Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their successful finance team based in Garfoth,Leeds, just off the M1.
This role will see you joining a sociable, friendly, and hard-working team in a company who truly value and recognise their employees and do so by regularly rewardinghard work.
Your role will be to work closely with the wider finance team and tosupport the daily transactional running of the purchase ledger.
We are particularly interested in speaking with candidate who have a background in finance administration and purchase ledger, who arelooking to take the next step in building a long-term career as a finance professional, where this will be your next big step in your career.
Key Responsibilities of the role:
Process Invoices onto Sage 200 matching with purchase order’s and delivery notes
Request and chase up approvals of invoices
Follow controls ensuring proof of delivery/approvals are captured
Support in daily monitoring of the email inbox
Reconcile statements, requesting documents where required
Deal with supplier queries and escalate where necessary
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience 2 and 3 way match
Sage 200 experience
Good organisation skills
Good attention to detail
