Reed Accountancy are proud to be working with a business in Leeds who are recruiting a Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a permanent position and are considering part-time and full-time candidates. They are looking for someone who will get stuck in and help assist the rest of the team with ad hoc duties.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Manage Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Prepare and monitor budgets
- Produce financial reports
- Work closely with other departments to ensure financial processes align with the companies’ goals
You will need to demonstrate:
- AAT Qualified and similar experience or QBE
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar finance role
- Xero accountancy software experience
- Proficient in Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Payroll preparation/or processing would be useful
