We are seeking a skilled and responsible Coach Driver to join our team at Tetley's Coaches. As a Coach Driver, you will be responsible for transporting passengers to their destinations in a safe, timely, and professional manner. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our passengers' comfort and satisfaction throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate our coaches, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable journey experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and condition of the coach both inside and out.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip walk round checks of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues to ensure smooth coordination during trips.
- Handle any passenger inquiries or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain accurate tachograph records.
Requirements:
- A Valid PCV licence with category D entitlement and have a CPC qualification card.
- Previous experience as a coach or bus driver
- Excellent driving skills with a strong emphasis on safety.
- Customer-focused attitude with exceptional communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and a responsible attitude towards vehicle maintenance.
- Must pass background checks and drug/alcohol screenings.
- Monday to Friday £13.50 + £1 per hour summer bonus**
- Saturday and Sunday £15 + £1 per hour summer bonus**
Contractual Hours
Full time: 35 hours a week + overtime (Overtime is paid weekly)
Part time: 25 hours per week + overtime (Overtime is paid weekly)
Casual: Zero hours
