CLASS 1 CONTAINER DRIVER

£13.00 - £14.50 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for Class 1 Container Drivers for our Client based in Leeds.

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Follow Company policies and procedures
• Comply with Driving rules and regulations
• Securing container loads correctly
• Ensuring daily vehicle checks are completed and unit is well presented at all times
• Positive 'can do' attitude
• Delivering/collecting containers from terminals

Essential Skills

• Hold a valid UK Category CE licence
• Hold UK CPC and UK Digital Tachograph Card
• Have a minimum of 24 months experience driving CE vehicles
• Maximum of 6 penalty points with no major endorsement codes
• Work in a professional manner
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience transporting containers

Desirable Experience

Experience accessing ports with a port access card would be advantageous.
