HGV/LGV Class 1 Driver

Menzies Distribution are looking for a number of HGV drivers that hold a C+E licence to join us, providing a first class service with our team in Wakefield.  You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

The Details:

• Salary: £36,916 Per Annum
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - NIGHT
• Hours: Based on basic 48 hour week
• Location: Normaton, WF6
• Full-time, permanent
• Monthly Pay
• 28 days holidays inclusive of bank holidays

HGV driver duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other MDS locations.
• Delivering and collecting fragile product on behalf of MDS and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading as and when required

Requirements of candidate:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
