We are looking for someone with passion for cooking. as a commis chef, this is an entry-level position in the kitchen brigade responsible for supporting the kitchen team in food preparation and basic cooking tasks. Working under the supervision of the Head Chef and Sous Chef, the Commis Chef will help to ensure a smooth operation in the kitchen by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to food safety standards. Key Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items according to recipes and standards.
Measure and prepare ingredients as directed by senior chefs.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and hygiene regulations.
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper stock rotation.
Learn and follow kitchen procedures, including food safety standards.
