Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000 Neg. + 1% commission
Benefits: Fully expensed electric or hybrid car & full benefits
The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Tile Industry will involve:
·Field sales position selling a distributed range of ceramic tiles
·Selling into independent tile and bathroom showrooms
·Predominantly an account development role
·Responsible for circa 90-100 active customers and hundreds and passive accounts
·Traditionally the area has been achieving approx. £700,000, currently performing circa 25% down
·Area due to a retirement
·Ultimately the goal will be to grow the area to £1m+
·Utilising your own network of independent tile and/ or bathroom retail showrooms
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Tile Industry with:
·Field sales track record within the associated tile or bathroom industry
·Must have sold into independent retail customers
·Ideally you will have existing relationships within independent retail showrooms on patch
·Proven field sales experience in an associated industry to ceramic tiles, such as flooring, walls, other interior building products etc. may be considered with strong network of customer contacts
·Enthusiastic, self-motivated and driven
·Specific knowledge of ceramics is preferred not essential
·Excellent territory planning capability
