A Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager is required to join a growing engineering supplier specialising in Industrial automation, providing applications into the industrial.
The successful Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager will be responsible for key account management and business development with major customers across Yorkshire, covering areas such as Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, York, Hull and Harrogate
The ideal Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager will ideally have knowledge of a range of electrical products, and industrial automation products, including PLCs, Programmable Logic Controllers, variable speed drives, electrical control gear, sensors, HMI, Switch Gears or process instrumentation.

Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager Role
Selling a range of electrical products, and industrial automation products, including PLCs, Programmable Logic Controllers, variable speed drives, electrical control gear, etc Business development and account management.
Plan and manage a set of accounts within a key area of business.
Build on new accounts and develop a strong set of existing accounts.
Able to follow and execute key plans both from the branch and independently
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Liaise with customers to identify specifications/requirements and offer technical automation solutions.
Keep up to date with new products coming to the market with a large existing portfolio.
Covering key accounts and distributors across Yorkshire such as Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, York, Hull and Harrogate.

Sales Engineer / Key Account Manager / Area Sales Manager Requirements
Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within rotating equipment.
Experience selling, managing or servicing industrial automation products such PLCs, Programmable Logic Controllers, variable speed drives, electrical control gear or similar would be beneficial Electrical wholesale background would be considered.
Electrical bias or knowledge/interest of automation is desired.
An engineering qualification would be beneficial.
Knowledge of industrial automation or a passion for learning. Full
Reporting to the site in Yorkshire, located in areas such as Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, York, Hull and Harrogate.
A full UK driver's licence is needed.
