The main purpose of the Sales Consultant role is to undertake detailed conversations with consumers and offer suitable financial solutions based on the conversation. What a Sales Consultant role involves:

  • Information gathering on the phone to be able to match the customers' needs with the best client
  • Building strong rapport through quality conversations
  • Converting queries into appointments
  • In-depth recording of information onto the CRM system, providing reasonable and tailored results for each customer

What skills and experience you need to be a Sales Consultant:

  • Sales experience: Proven success in a B2C call centre would be beneficial.
  • Technical knowledge: Competent with systems and software.
  • Customer First Approach: Attentiveness, patience, empathy, professionalism, and a genuine desire to meet customer needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Excellent telephone manner: A combination of clear communication, active listening, and working toward finding a solution or providing relevant information efficiently.
  • Passion: A passion for supporting customers to build long term relationships with clients, streamlining their journey within the financial services industry.
