A dynamic and innovative construction consultancy based in Leeds is actively seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join their dedicated team.

The Senior Construction Project Manager Role

The Senior Construction Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful planning, execution, and delivery of complex construction projects. Your responsibilities will include leading pre-construction activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing all aspects of the project lifecycle to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.

As a NEC Project Manager and Employer's Agent, you will also handle contract administration and stakeholder management, ensuring seamless integration and communication across all project stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead pre-construction efforts, including programming and development appraisals.
  • Serve as the NEC Project Manager and Employer's Agent.
  • Manage contract administration, consultant procurement, and risk management.
  • Oversee quality inspections, shell monitoring, and maintain landlord relations.
  • Conduct effective stakeholder meetings to ensure robust project communication.
  • Lead project development from risk assessment to completion, with a focus on healthcare, retail, or public sector projects.

The Senior Construction Project Manager

  • Possession of a BSc/MSc in Project Management or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in construction project management within a consultancy setting.
  • Strong expertise in NEC contracts and experience as an Employer's Agent.
  • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management and team leadership.
  • A solid track record in successful project delivery across all construction phases.
