Our prestigious client urgently require temporary medical contact centre agents to work in their booking centre in Leeds, LS7. The start is asap and will run through the summer period until 31st August 2024 so you must be available for the duration of the booking.

The service operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year which will include Bank Holidays. All staff are expected to work on Bank Holidays should their shift fall on that day.

Our client is looking to recruit members of staff to work the following shifts:

Tuesdays - 18:00 - 00:00 - Every week

  • Tuesdays - 00:00 - 05:59 - Every week
  • Wednesdays - 18:00 - 00:00 - Every week

·Thursdays - 18:00 - 00:00 - Every week

  • Fridays - 16:00 - 22:00 - Every week
  • Fridays - 18:00 - 00:00 - Every week

·Sundays - 18:00 - 00:00 - Every week

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a minimum requirement to work 16 hours per week for this booking. Please ensure you add a cover letter to your application stating the days/hours you would like to work.

£11.94 per hour - Monday to Friday 8am - 6pm

£12.94 per hour - Monday to Friday 6pm - 8am, and Saturdays, and Sundays

As a Temporary Contact Centre Agent, you will be responsible for:

  • Support the safe and effective flow of patients within the contact centre operations
  • Deal with the caller’s query, to include transferring to another department or manager if necessary
  • Comfort call patients to support safe management of queues
  • Ensuring that polices and protocols are carried out as set down by the company
  • Liaise with and book patients into the primary care and out of hours centres via system one, using appointment diaries across West Yorkshire
  • Any other administration/computer work relevant to the operational running of the service
  • Be an active member of the contact centre team, assisting in the provision and maintenance of the quality, standards, and professional image of the service
  • Maintain confidentiality of information given at all times

Candidates must have:

  • Excellent communication skills and be able to show empathy with patients
  • Be able to work on own initiative and within a team environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy and be IT literate
