Red Recruitment is recruiting Customer Service Representatives to join our client, a market leader in acquiring and managing vulnerable customers, helping them find a solution to clearing their outstanding debts.

Due to the nature of this role, the suitable candidates must be empathetic, trustworthy and professional.

The salary for this position is £23,400 per annum, there is also an opportunity to earn up to £29,250 on target earnings.

Benefits and Package for a Customer Service Representative:

  • Salary: £23,400 per annum (OTE £29,250) + monthly bonus of £489.50
  • Hours: Rotating shift patterns, hours between 8am - 7pm (only 1 7pm finish) and 1 Saturday a month 9am - 2pm
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Location: Leeds (city centre)
  • Hybrid (1 week at home, 1 week in the office)
  • Monthly bonus up to £487.50 (£5,850 bonus per year)

Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative:

  • Helping customers find a sustainable solution to managing their personal debt
  • Using a variety of contact methods, including telephone and digital channels
  • Resolving any customer queries, following clear and compliance procedures
  • Negotiating with customers in a considerate manner

Key Skills and Experience of a Customer Service Representative:

  • Warm and friendly telephone manner is essential
  • You should have a passion for delivering great customer service
  • Strong IT skills particularly with Microsoft Office is required
  • You will need to be empathetic, trustworthy and professional as you will be dealing with vulnerable customers
  • Being able to work towards targets and KPIs is also required
