As a Fire Safety Joiner you will provide all types of fire safety joinery repairs, to tenanted and vacant properties, within a customer service quality driven repair and maintenance service. You will be covering the South Yorkshire, Calderdale, and Lancashire area.This is a temporary position for a duration of 4 months with possibility of extension.Outline of Key responsibilities of the Fire Safety Joiner...

  • To carry out all types of Fire safety Joinery repairs to both tenanted and vacant properties as per job tickets, specifications and contract drawings.
  • Ensure repairs are completed with high quality workmanship and meet relevant building regulations and standards.
  • Organise work efficiently to minimise lost or non-productive time and proactively communicate any workload issues.
  • Participate in overtime, stand-by, and call-out shift schedule as needed.
  • Use initiative to diagnose and undertake repairs that may deviate from original requirements, obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient use of time, materials, and resources.

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Full UK manual drivers license and own vehicle.
  • Experience in joinery along with other relevant building disciplines.
  • Relevant qualification and experience, such as City and Guilds Advanced Craft Certificate in Carpentry & Joinery.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Ability to complete repairs efficiently and in one visit whenever possible.

Own tools and van desirable.
