This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Panel wirer / Electrical engineer to join an established business who are leading suppliers of electrical power distribution equipment.
Job Description:
- Producing the arrangements for our products and working within the Engineering Team’s procedural framework to ensure all design requirements are met. Key areas include:
- Issuing marshalling & wiring schematics to client specifications
- Developing and maintaining component libraries
- Supporting the mechanical engineers where required
- Maintaining standard designs
- Investigating new technologies
- Working closely with the fitting department to improve output to internal customers
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge & understanding of relay logic
- Ability to read and draw electrical schematics
- Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification
- Fault finding skills
- Panel wiring experience
- Previous experience of transformers would be ideal but not essential
- AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical experience would be ideal but not essential
- Autodesk Inventor experience would be ideal but not essential
- Organised with good communication skills.
- A sound knowledge of engineering design principles
- Good numeracy and I.T. skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- The ability to meet deadlines
- Attention to detail
Additional Details:
- Salary - £35,000 - £45000
- 5 days on site – no hybrid working
- Hours - 8:30am – 4:45pm – 3:30pm finish on Friday
- 25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
