Electrical Project Manager

Electrical Project Manager required for our client established in 2002, offers comprehensive solutions from design to installation and certification. Specializing in various sectors, they have built a strong reputation, particularly in rail, with projects across the UK. They ensure safe and timely delivery for all their clients. They cover the railway lines from Leeds all the way to London. (North East Mainline).

• Salary £50,000 - £60,000, depending on experience

Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing electrical projects within the railway sector from conception to completion. You will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for railway electrical projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and ensure safety compliance.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and track project expenses to stay within budget.
• Allocate resources effectively and lead project teams to achieve objectives.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Ensure adherence to codes, standards, and regulations governing electrical installations.
• Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions to maintain standard

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical project management
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Previous electrical qualifications such as JIB Electrical Contracts Manager Black Card, NVQ Level 3 Electrical, SSSTS/SMSTS, and JIB Card/Apprenticeship desirable
• Railway experience (desirable)
