A great opportunity for an experienced Energy & Sustainability Consultant to join a well-established construction consultancy. The successful candidate will work across a wide range of projects including commercial, education, and health sectors.
Requirements:
- BSc/BEng in Sustainability/Energy//Building Services Disciplines or Similar
- Relevant experience within the sector
- Qualifications, including but not limited to; BREEAM, Retrofit, Non-Domestic Energy Assessor, Low Carbon Consultant (Desirable)
- Completed energy assessments
- Brilliant communication skills and time management
- Experience liaising with clients and contractors
- Knowledge of current funding streams and how they work
- Project management of schemes ideally domestic and commercial
- Experience of decarbonisation of existing heating systems and building fabric upgrade for Retrofit projects
- Chartered status or working towards becoming a member of a professional body (Desirable)
Duties:
- Prepare Energy and Sustainability Statements and Strategies
- Support with BREEAM and decarbonisation projects
- Complete energy assessments (EPC, DEC, ESOS)
- Assist colleagues and help them develop
- Manage projects and complete contract administration
