Are you an experienced Executive Assistant ready to take on a new exciting 6 month contract opportunity with a well reputable public sector organisation?

Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their as an Executive Assistant to work on a hybrid basis meaning you'll be working from home for up to 80% of your time with the on-site work being based in West Yorkshire.

As the Executive Assistant, you will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team. Your responsibilities will include managing diaries, coordinating meetings, producing high-quality documents, handling confidential information, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake executive assistant duties, including note-taking, word processing, and general communication management.
  • Efficiently manage the diaries of the Senior Leadership team, prioritising tasks according to changing priorities.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion, adhering to data protection policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the seamless provision of administrative support.
  • Support recruitment and selection processes and contribute to the departmental induction programme.
  • Prepare and collate briefings for meetings, ensuring timely delivery and follow-up actions.
  • Coordinate and finalise key documents, such as annual reports and strategic documentation.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, internal departments, and external contacts to access information and provide guidance.
  • Attend meetings and produce accurate minutes/reports.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the administration of expenses and claims.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with excellent typing skills.
  • Experience in secretarial and administrative processes, preferably at a senior level.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively.
