AK Teaching is currently seeking a dedicated SEND HLTAto join a reputable school in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting primary aged learners with SEND in their educational and personal development.
- Collaborating with teachers and specialists to implement tailored learning plans.
- Assisting in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Providing one-on-one or small group support as needed.
- Monitoring progress and reporting back to the teaching team.
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check on the update service, or willingness to apply through AK Teaching.
- Comfortable working with a range of ages, as required by the school.
- Previous experience in an SEND setting is highly advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support students with additional needs.
