As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll have an integral role in guiding the educational journey of students with special needs. Responsibilities:

  • Offer personalised support to students, adapting teaching approaches to suit their individual learning styles.

  • Establish effective communication with parents, teachers, and specialists for collaborative student support.

Essential Requirements:

  • Previous experience working or volunteering with SEND children, preferably with autism/ADHD exposure.
  • Proficient in behaviour management techniques.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic demeanour.
  • Commitment to child safeguarding.
  • Active DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
