About the Role: Gilbert Meher is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join a leading residential care home in Leeds. This role presents an exciting opportunity to support the Residential Home Manager in the day-to-day operations of the facility and contribute to the delivery of exceptional care to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Residential Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the care home.
- Support the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring resident needs are met.
- Provide leadership and support to care staff, promoting a positive working environment.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and performance management of staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a senior care role within a residential care home setting.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
