An HR Officer is needed in our Leeds based manufacturing company to support the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will provide efficient human resource services and contribute positively to our team.

Description
- Overseeing HR functions for a team of 400+ employees
- Collaborating with various partners and stakeholders in the industry
- Handling employee relations matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances
- Managing absence and sickness leave, including long-term sickness reviews
- Updating policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements
- Providing regular reports to directors and board members on HR metrics
- Offering coaching and guidance to directors and line managers on performance management and development
- Conducting vetting checks such as DBS, credit, and drug screenings for new and existing employees
- Leading recruitment and onboarding processes, including the establishment of a new site
- Serving as the primary HR contact for a specific location
- Maintaining data accuracy and information security in HR systems.
Profile
A successful HR Officer should have:
- Worked in manufacturing
- Sound knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to handle data with confidentiality.
- Previous experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry is desirable.
