An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Systems Administrator to join a leading Leeds based firm of insurance brokers.

Working closely with, and reporting directly to, the IT Director, this is a wide-ranging role involved in providing IT support across the business, including assisting and supporting a number of group wide projects aimed at streamlining internal processes. In addition, you will assist internal stakeholders, ensuring software/hardware is running correctly and diagnose and resolve any issues that may arise with the systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing IT support to staff and reporting to the IT Director.
  • Responsible for performing hardware and software purchases upon approval.
  • Ensures that appropriate IT policies are in place and adhered to by all staff.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects in conjunction with the IT Director.
  • Identify potential new technologies that would benefit the business and improvements in the functionality and use of existing systems.
