Freelance Site Manager

Untie People are working with a leading construction contractor in Leeds to hire a Site Manager on an accommodation build scheme in Leeds. You will be focussing on internal fitout of rooms, including management of trades, snags and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing project schedules and ensuring work is completed within set deadlines.
• Overseeing individual snagging and finishing of apartment units, overseeing quality and deadlines for handymen and finishing trades.
• Reporting progress to senior management.
• Ensuring work is completed to the agreed high standards.
• Coordinating teams of workers and subcontractors
• Maintaining quality control checks
• Singing off and handing completed work over to the client

Requirements & experience:

• SMSTS
• First Aid (preferable)
• CSCS Card
• Trade background preference is joinery / plastering
• Previous experience in a fitout, snagging or finishing role.
• Experience of site audit software and finishing
