Job Description: As the Production Planning Manager, you will oversee all aspects of production planning and scheduling to ensure efficient resource utilisation, timely delivery of products, and achievement of production targets. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage the production planning team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  2. Develop and implement production planning strategies to optimise resource utilisation and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and align production activities with customer requirements.
  4. Monitor and analyse production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  5. Coordinate production schedules and resolve production-related issues.
  6. Lead capacity planning efforts to optimise production capacity and resource availability.
  7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and improve productivity.
  8. Manage inventory levels and control processes to minimise stockouts and excess inventory.
  9. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
